The awards process, from entries to announcements, is a confusing, convoluted and often mystifying experience.  To truly comprehend all the rules and procedures of the various competitions is really a full-time job.  Most networks and production companies find that their submitter changes on a yearly (or even more frequent) basis, destroying consistency and forcing a new amateur to struggle with the complicated rules of various competitions year after year.
